Under his full grown moustache, deep inside his body, there lives a female, graceful and poised. In Ben’s works, intentionally or unintentionally, there flows an elegant style, clean and sober, color harmony. Edge blended with background gracefully. Both composition and color relationship shows a multi dimension possibility, subjectively.

在新冠疫情期间，艺术家Ben重新思考了中国女性的地位和象征。花瓶是女性的一个隐喻，而在花瓶上手绘女性的形象，可以进一步强化故事情节。中国女性人物的姿态在中国画中很常见，这是所有艺术家的内心世界。女性就像花瓶一样，需要保护。而把花放在花瓶里使两者更完美。背景是中国山水画以油画的方式呈现，风格多样，中西合璧。《瓶·静03 Vase 03》，布上油画，80×120 cm，2021向塞尚致敬 Tribute to CezanneDuring COVID, Ben rethink the Chinese female status and icon.Vase is a metaphor of female while hand draw female figure over a China vase can further enhance the story. Female needed protection, as the vase is delicate and extra care is under stated all the time.In Ben’s works, Chinese style landscape painting in oil as background, various styles, blends nicely with the vase as the foreground. BENGALLERY was first located at Dongping Pawn Museum Guangzhou (built at Late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China) which is a valuable historical building protected by goverment.
With its strong cultural background it was the platform to promote local culture and international communication.
BENGALLERY has now moved to the Blue House in Baiyun District. The Blue House is the only art gallery by the side of mother river in Guangzhou.
It’s invested with multicultural mission to sail to international art sea….
