Kwan Sui Sang (1935-), Chinese-American mathematician, astronomer and mathematician

GUAN SUISHENG

Guan Suisheng, Zekai, Lingnan Weirdo, Yanmo Taoist, originated from Kaiping, Guangdong, China, and was born in Guangzhou, China in 1958. He is a famous contemporary Chinese painter and calligrapher of burnt ink painting. He has been a keen lover of art since childhood, and studied Chinese painting and calligraphy under Liu Qunxing of the Lingnan School of Painting and many other famous artists in his early years. He studied at the Oil Painting Department of the South China College of Literature and Art, and later worked as an animator and background designer for the Time Animation Factory of the Pearl River Film Production Company. He was a consultant director of the Canadian Calligraphy Association and vice president of the Canadian Federation of Contemporary Art. He is now the president of the China-Canada Calligraphy and Painting Art Exchange Association.
